Dear all,
Now that the semester is back in full swing and we’re almost all set post the summer move, time has come to resume our monthly MPE Seminar Series. An introduction is certainly warranted for those who recently joined us and perhaps it would serve well as a refresher for all.
The MPE Seminar Series is a monthly meeting designed to create a department-wide space for researchers and educators alike to learn about all the interesting work MPE is invested in and multiply the already flourishing collaborations within.
Each session lasts one hour, and comprises of three talks of 15 minutes each + 5 min for Q&A. The talks may concern research, teaching, industrial collaboration, grant application, students projects, or any other topic you see would be worth sharing with your colleagues. To make it easier for most of us to attend, we will be hosting the seminar during lunch time (11:00-12:00) on different weekdays during the semester. Complimentary sandwiches will be graciously provided by the department.
