Key changes to the staff parking rules on Aarhus Campus

• Staff can still change their registered car in the system whenever they need to – for example, if there are multiple cars in the household, if they get a new car or need to use a rental car. The change will take effect immediately.
• All employees with a staff parking permit for Aarhus Campus must re-register their car in the system between 5 October and 1 November – even if their car is currently registered. This is because cars that are currently registered will not be transferred to the new database once the new rules come into force.
• Staff should continue to use the same self-service system to register their cars for the staff parking scheme.
• Student assistants can no longer use the staff parking scheme on Aarhus Campus. Their parking permits will be automatically cancelled on 1 November 2026.
• The new rules do not apply to AU parking in the University City, for which staff need a separate permit.
