Master's Reform: 7 New Programmes are Approved

Shortly before Christmas, Aarhus University received approval for seven new Master’s degree programmes, all introduced as part of the Master’s Reform:

  • Applied Computer Science
  • Biomedicinsk teknologi
  • Civil and Architectural Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

All seven programmes are part-time Master’s tracks following the 1+2 model, except Applied Computer Science, which is offered as a 75‑ECTS programme. 

In addition to AU’s seven programmes, a further eleven Master’s programmes were approved in this round.
