New staff member in the MEMA section
We are pleased to let everyone know that we are welcoming a new staff member to our department
Michelle Hedvard will join us as postdoc on May 1st 2026. She will be working in the MEMA section on the IFD Grand Solutions HyFly: Novel hybrid glass-carbon fiber flywheels for efficient mechanical energy storage through multiscale design and optimization project. Michelle will be primarily supervised by Michal Budzik.
Michelle is originally from Denmark. After completing her MSc degree at AU MPE, she moved to Germany and recently completed her PhD at the University of Rostock.
We are looking forward to receiving Michelle and hope you will give her a warm velsome to our department.
