Hello to


Melissa Pilegaard Rasch Nielsen will join us as a research assistant on 15 October. She will work in the MEDY section on the following projects: Automated Soil Strength Measurements. Melissa will be supervised by Ole Balling.
 
Melissa is from Odense, Denmark and has previously studied at the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering, where she completed her master's degree in the summer of 2024.
 
We are looking forward to receiving Melissa and hope you will all give her a warm welcome to our department.


Adrián Borbolla Muñoz will join us as an industrial PhD student on the 1 October and will be working in the DEMA section on the project “ZemID: Realising Net-Zero Emissions Manufacturing Via Simulation-Based Identification of Production Capabilities”.

Adrián will be supervised by Devarajan Ramanujan and Charles Møller.

Adrián is from Spain and has previously received his MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Aarhus University. He comes from a position as Environmental/Data Engineer in Sustainable Manufacturing at Grundfos A/s. 

We are looking forward to receiving Adrián and hope you will all give him a warm welcome to our department.


Phan Hoang Dao Nguyen will join us as PhD student the 1 October and will be working in the MEMA-section on the following projects: HyFly. Phan will be supervised by Søren Madsen and Michal K. Budzik.

Phan has previously studied at Aarhus University and graduated in Mechanical Engineering this summer.

We are looking forward to receiving Phan and hope you will all give him a warm welcome to our department.

Goodbye to

As of 31 December 2024, Mogens Odgaard Andersen will be leaving his position as Secretariat Staff Member

We wish him all the best in his future career endeavours.


As of 30 September 2024, Giovanni Formentini will be leaving his position as a Postdoc in the DEMA-section.

Giovanni has been employed in a temporary position, which is concluding now.

As of 14 September 2024, Rune Marsilius Jensen will be leaving his position as research assistant in the FLEN-section.

Rune has been employed in a temporary position which is concluding now.
